Students to Decide Supreme Court Case!

You(th) Decide is a forum for high school students in Chicago and the Metropolitan area to explore and deliberate on a pending case before the Supreme Court of the United States. Facilitated by Constitutional Democracy Project staff and the Institute on the Supreme Court of the United States (ISCOTUS), You(th) Decide asks students to study a pending case before the Court and to convene for a day of deliberation with peers, law students, and law professors. Prior to the conference, students are asked to submit a response to one of three questions prepared by a constitutional law professor. Their response is submitted to a law student for their input prior to attending the forum.

You(th) Decide is an opportunity for students from across the region to exchange ideas and discover common ground.
You(th) Decide is open to students enrolled in high school social studies classes in Chicago and the Metropolitan area.
You(th) Decide provides students with an opportunity to interact and discuss issues before the court with law students, law professors, and other legal experts.
You(th) Decide allows students to learn about a current case from law students and legal scholars and then decide the case as Justices of the United States Supreme Court.
