  • Volunteers listen to and validate the ideas and projects presented by students while providing constructive feedback and modeling civil discussion.
  • Volunteers also serve as positive role models for students; these role models’ interest in and interaction with students helps develop bonds between students and community, an important factor in preventing antisocial behavior.
