The Constitutional Democracy Project offers high-quality, hands-on civics education programs and teaching materials focused on the Constitution, law, and policy for middle school and high school students and their teachers.
In the Fall of 2020, the Constitutional Democracy Project with support from the Jack Miller Center's Chicago Founding Civics Initiative offered a four-session professional development workshop series about voting and the Constitution. The lessons included in this curriculum arose from those workshops, and were created with input from participants. They are designed for use in high school government and civics classes.

The 2021 Youth Summit curriculum addresses the issue of defunding the police. But what does the phrase really mean? Does it mean doing away with the police? Or does it mean using funds devoted to policing in different ways? Or does it mean something else entirely? Once we have a clear idea of the goals of people who advocate defunding the police, should we adopt policies to achieve the goals? These are the questions we seek to answer in this curriculum.
